Under the astute guidance of Mr. Sam Primucci as chair of the 2019 Event Committee, the 5th annual Una Serata in Calabria held on September 26, at Fontana Primavera Event Centre was another great success. More than $215,000 was raised for the CBAO Seniors Day Program topping $1.1 million raised in the last five years.
Special thanks to Dr. Vincenzo Santo Basile, Chief of Neurology and Medical Director of stroke at Mackenzie Health Hospital, who enlightened us with a talk on the relationship of mini-strokes and Alzheimer’s disease.
